Everything will be ok!

In my hometown, store fronts and homes alike are displaying signs that say, “Everything will be okay”. These signs are in response to the unsettled feelings many are experiencing due to all of the changes Covid-19 is bringing to our neighbourhoods.

You can say, “Everything will be okay” with complete confidence if you have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. You are Heaven bound! You can look forward to being at home where there is, “no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain” (Revelation 21:4).

God sent His beloved, sinless, spotless Son, Jesus Christ to live on earth, to die on the cross, to bear the punishment our sins deserve and to rise again from the dead – triumphant over sin and Hell
We need a personal relationship with God because we are born with a sinful nature and a soul that needs this relationship. “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). God wants us to be saved and to have a personal relationship with Him. He said, “Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other” (Isaiah 45:22). He “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4).

God sent His beloved, sinless, spotless Son, Jesus Christ to live on earth, to die on the cross, to bear the punishment our sins deserve and to rise again from the dead – triumphant over sin and Hell. When we respond to Him and believe in our heart and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, we have eternal life. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
Once we are saved, we won’t come into judgment because we have passed from death to life. Our future is secure. “Everything will be okay”.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope” (Romans 15:13).
