The front cover shows a life buoy against a blue sky. As you read through the articles in this volume of Via you may notice that many of them are about a rescue or someone who needed to be rescued.
Do you sometimes feel that you need to be saved from a meaningless life? You are not alone. Read your Bible to learn more about the God who loves you and wants to rescue you. The Bible is living and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). All the Bible quotations in these articles are from the New King James version.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you have been saved from spending a lost eternity apart from God. You belong in God’s
family. He sees the righteousness of the Lord Jesus in you. However, if you have not accepted the Lord Jesus as your personal Saviour, you are in need of being rescued.
There are many people who have not yet heard the good news that the Lord Jesus Christ came to this world to rescue them from their sin.
