We each make many choices every day.
Some may be trivial as we choose what to wear or what to eat; others will influence matters in our work place; others will set the trend for our life as we choose a career, a partner for life, or a place to live. The most important choice that we can ever make is a choice to accept or reject the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s Son, as our personal Lord and Saviour.
This choice will decide the eternal destiny of our soul. It may seem illogical that a Man who was crucified almost 2,000 years ago can save us at this present time. However, when we appreciate the truth that “…Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day…and that He was seen…” (1 Corinthians 15:3-5), it becomes very logical and most acceptable.
No one can make this choice for you; you must make it for yourself. As you continue to read this little magazine, you will make a choice. Be sure you make the right one! “I have set before you life and death…therefore, choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19).
